Every year, youth offenders return home determined to build a better future, but many are released without safe and stable housing. This lack of housing tragically leads to homelessness and significantly contributes to recidivism. Without a safe place to live, it becomes difficult to maintain employment, reconnect with family, comply with supervision requirements, avoid gang activities, and stay away from returning to the justice system.
